BIG NEWS!

29 08 2008

Hi Penguins!

I had some much to catch up on since my computer broke down!

The Penguin Games has come to a close. I hope you all had a great time and was able to get the Medal. The Soccer Pitch has stayed to replace the Ice Rink, even though the Games are gone, but this will be only temporary.

Also, congrats to the Penguin Times on its 150th issue! Yay! Click to enlarge.

There is a Jokes cheat in the newspaper. If you click on the word “Jokes”, you get 2 more jokes to read! Yay!

And if you want to, you can check out the Waddle Down Memory Lane: Part 2, in the newspaper. It starts off with the first ever arrival of Rockhopper.

Lastly, I just want to remind everyone that there will be a new Furniture Catalog and Pin hidden tomorrow!

150th Issue and Furniture Catalog Sneak Peek

There will be a new furniture catalog available this Friday. Here’s a sneak peek. It looks like a piece of Metal (maybe part of a Stool?), a Red Couch, a Coffee (or Soda) Machine, and a Fireplace.

Tomorrow’s Penguin Times newspaper will be the 150th edition. I hope it’s something special.

The Soccer Pitch in Club Penguin will be staying for a while, once the party ends. It is now available to nonmembers.

Lastly, a new Cheat (#115) has been added to the Cheats & Glitches page in the sidebar. Check it out!

Club Penguin DS: Elite Penguin Force Countdown

25 08 2008

I made a post a while ago about the coming of a Club Penguin game for Nintendo DS, expected near the holiday season. Well, now we have an official date: November 4th, 2008. So, I made a new sidebar and countdown for it. The countdown (some of you have seen it before during last year’s Christmas countdown) tells the exact number of days, hours, minutes, and seconds before it will be released. I might be getting it for Christmas.

Club Penguin Games!

22 08 2008

I didn’t have time to go on yesterday, so I borrowed some pics from Watex. Thanks man!

How to get the Gold Medal in Club Penguin

The Penguin Games have started! To start playing, click on the medal in the upper right.

The first race is the Marathon at the Ski Village. Start behind the starting line and wait for the countdown before you start racing. Then move along the track and STOP at every light and MAKE IT LIGHT UP.

If you miss one light, you’ll have to go back and get it or you won’t finish. The Marathon goes through several rooms: Ski Village>Beach>Dock>Town>Snow Forts>Plaza>Forest>Cove. Go past the finish line as far as I did in the picture once you’ve gotten all the lights.

The next race is the Three Lap Race at the Iceberg. It is the same idea: you have to hit all the lights. Sometimes the lights might not work very well, but they do work. Remember, you have to around the track THREE TIMES.

The last race is the Freestyle Swim at the Underground Pool. You must swim FIVE lengths of the Pool. Make sure you make the 2 lights go off EACH time you hit the end of the Pool.

The event display should automatically open when you have finished all 3 events. When it does, select Claim Prize.

Yay! You now have the Gold Medal!

Penguin Games!

22 08 2008

The Penguin Games start tomorrow! There will be multiple free items, but you’ll have to play games to get them. The 3 main events are listed below. Gary the Gadget Guy will have a surprise to keep track of runners.

Members will be able to compete at the new soccer pitch at the Ice Rink.

Also, here’s a sneak peek of the Games tomorrow. It’s the Moose and Mullet in the Lodge, and they’re both wearing red/blue face paint. Perhaps the return of those 2 items?

A new, and perhaps important, Penguin Poll will be posted on Club Penguin tomorrow. I’ll give you all the info on that when it arrives.

Lastly, don’t forget to check out this week’s Penguin Times newspaper. There’s a pretty good article on Igloo-building there (which reminded me of strategies for my own igloo when I was a member. Pic here), and a cool In Focus: A Waddle Down Memory Lane.

Sports Catalog Sneak Peek

In celebration of the upcoming Penguin Games, here’s a sneak peek of the Sports Catalog. It’s coming out today!

It’s hard to say what they are, but the first two are definitely red and blue football helmets. The next looks likes a Volleyball net furniture item. And the last one is the hardest to guess. I’m thinking it might be a red headband.

CP News: Penguin Games, Sports Catalog, and Ship Igloo

Yay! The Penguin Games are coming August 22nd! The Red and the Blue Team will be facing off to prove which team is greater once and for all. The team with more medals at the end wins. Penguins everywhere have been training for the game, so put on your sports clothing and pick a side!

Rory and Rookie will be commentating on the event each week. They say there’s gonna be a big change to the Ice Rink on the day the event starts. Maybe an Opening Ceremony like the Olympics? Also, there won’t be free items laying around this time. Much like Fall Fair 2007, you’ll have to play games to earn the prizes.

Thanks to everyone who helped find all the blue prints last week! The new Pirate Igloo will be hitting the Igloo Catalog this Friday! Pirate-inclined penguins should start saving up coins for this awesome igloo!

Last but not least, the Sports Catalog hits the stores this Friday. It’ll probably be a great one because of the upcoming Penguin Games. There will probably be a lot of Red/Blue Team gear so purchase a color and recruit members for your team to rally at the Ice Rink!

Scavenger Hunt Answers

9 08 2008

Hi penguins!

Heres how to find all the boats and get a free background!

Saddly, my account has been banned:(

Have Fun!

Start by clicking the paper boat in the upper right corner. This gives you the details on the Scavenger Hunt.

The first paper boat is at the Mine in the box of water near the entrance.

The second paper boat is at the Cove in the bottom right, in the water.

The third paper boat is at the Coffee Shop. It is located in the green pot that’s behind the desk where they serve Coffee.

The fourth paper boat is at the Beach. It is hidden in the black rocks on the shore.

The fifth paper boat is at the Pool. It is floating in the window.

The sixth paper boat is at the Pet Shop. It is on the green, pet tray right outside where you can play Puffle Round-Up.

The seventh paper boat is at the Dock. It is floating beside the wooden dock, near Hydro hopper.

The last paper boat is located at the Iceberg. It is floating in the water right under Aqua Grabber.

Click on the paper boat in the upper right corner of your screen again. Then select ‘Build the Blueprint’. Here’s the finished blueprints.

You will get a message from Rory. Select ‘Claim Prize’.

You will receive a Blueprints background to show off to penguins online!

On another note, the Beijing Olympics kick off today (8/8/08 ) at 8:08 PM.

If you want to meet RH, get his background, or are just bored, try the RH Finding Guide for some help on tracking him.

Penguin Games, Scavenger Hunt, Red vs. Blue and New Aqua Grabber Levels and Map

8 08 2008

Much like the Beijing 2008 Olympics (which officially kicks off tomorrow), the Penguin Games will take place August 22-26. It looks like it’s gonna cover a wide variety of sports. Maybe each individual penguin might be able to compete and win a medal if he or she is the best in all of Club Penguin.

‘Rory & Rookie’ are the commentators and will be giving you the play by play each week.

When RH’s ship was still destroyed, Rockhopper made some new ship plans back on RH Island. However, he didn’t need them because we rebuilt his ship by the time he returned. So he has a great idea to use the plans to design a ship igloo!

But here’s what happened: Rory the construction penguin accidentally lost the plans when making paper boats. So TOMORROW, August 8th, we will have a scavenger hunt to find all the pieces of the plans and put them back together! Don’t worry, I will tell you guys how to do it.

Team Blue’s Rally 2 at the Stage will be arriving tomorrow as well. They will be facing off against their biggest rival: Team Red. Pick a side!

Below are the answers to the Puffle-So-Cute-O (basically a Sudoku) in the newspaper. Please read the instructions before you play it. I suggest only using the answers when you need some help. ;)

Lastly, Rockhopper is expected to dock on CP this Friday.

August 6, 2008

The new levels of Aqua Grabber have come out! The levels are Clam Waters and Soda Seas. Clam Waters is the old level but with a new ending, where you have to get the Grand Pearl from the giant oyster. You don’t have to complete the old level to play the new one. Lastly, each level has different stages (”Achievements”) like Race against the Clock or Finish without losing a life. The green/yellow/red gauge on the map is a high/low quality button.

Club Penguin Cheats – Aqua Grabber Full Guide

Bring a Pink Puffle with you, if you have one, so it’ll blow air bubbles to help you breathe.

Level 1 – Clam Waters

  1. (Optional) Collect Pearls from Clams while they’re asleep. Black pearls are worth more.
  2. Use openings to restore your tank from losing air.
  3. Once you got all the small pearls, go to the bottom right floor and pick up the rock

4. Go to the giant oyster. Drop the rock in FIRST. Now pick up the Giant Pearl and bring it to the surface to finish the level.

Level 2 – Soda Seas

1. Pick up all the kegs of Cream Soda and bring them to the net at the top. Leave the ones with plants in front of them for later.

2. Once you’ve gathered enough kegs, the plants will awaken and will move when you get close to them.
3. Now once you’ve cleared the top, go through the area where the bubbles are coming from. Watch out for the blowfish.

4. Keep going down. Avoid the giant blowfish. Pick up the treasure and the bottom. Bring it back to the top to win.

Aqua Grabber Sneak Peek

In just a few days, the new level of Aqua Grabber comes out. Here is the expanded pic of last week’s sneak peek of the game. Looks like it wasn’t a Green puffle after all! It was a monster!

The Music Jam party ends August 5th, so make sure to check out all these cool things before the party ends:

  • Giant instruments at the Dojo that play only when you step on tile in front
  • Icicles that sound like xylophones when you touch them in the Mines (not Mine Shack)
  • Floor piano in the Underground Pool (flip the green switch when penguins are on it)
  • Music stages that plays only if someone is on them
  • Big stage that changes music/theme each day (Dock)
  • AND… The Dance Lounge: Hit the green switch to change the big background. Click it until you see the music notes. See if you can figure out which game the music is from!

G’s Word Search Answers and CP News

Let’s start with all the upcoming Club Penguin events.

First off, the Band is on break again. Which means if you’re a member, you can get go Backstage for a free autographed background! Here’s how to get Backstage and how to meet the Band.

Next, we finally know what game the level update is gonna be on. Aqua Grabber! On August 5th, the vessel will be grabbing many valuable gems other than pearls and venturing far deeper under the surface to face many new, unfriendly sea creatures. New divers are also needed to clean up an accidental cream soda spill.

Team Blue’s Rally will be back at the Stage on August 8th. This time, they’ll be facing Team Red!

The ‘Best Ways to Earn Coins’ Tip in the newspaper is by Happy77, who was/is a CP Mod. He says Puffle Round-Up is the best money maker. I don’t think that’s true though.

Finally, here are the answers to G’s Word Search in the newspaper. All the words are inventions of Gary’s.

As you know, I’ve been using some of fever’s pics, and i havn’t thanked him yet…

Well, here it is:

THANKS FEVER!!!
